grok bot not showing thinking is prob the future (for fast models) but if a task is taking more than a few seconds, it should output text to say what its doing nothing worse than seeing 'is working' for 10's of seconds +
grok bot will do well because theres very little setup to do
you know when you read a book and you can't follow the words words you dont know lots of characters etc but you read on and then 'get' what the words mean i feel like that working with agents building stuff. i pick up loads this way. often stop for a question or 10 mid (or side) chat
i’ve enjoyed chatting with grok 4.5 this week 4.6 feels similar which is great. the first real time i’ve given grok models a go and actually enjoying them long may the gains continue, 4.7 will be interesting results

Anthropic says new Claude models will embed invisible watermarks in all generated text, everywhere Claude is offered. The watermark is part of the text, it isn't metadata: "it will travel with the text when it's copied and pasted elsewhere, and may persist through some editing." This starts with models launched on or after August 2, 2026, under an EU AI Act code Anthropic signed. Anthropic is still working on adding it to current models. The rollout is worldwide.
